Rudraksha

Rudraksha is made up of two words (rudra) and (aksha), which means "eye of the Shiva". 

In nature, it is found as the seed of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal, India, Indonesia, and parts of Southeast Asia. It naturally has a hole on either pole and is divided into segments called Mukhi (faces). 

While all rudraksh are effective in their original or natural state but the results may take time to appear. Like gemstones, and yantras, the Rudraksha must be consecrated before use.
